OMP team met the families of missing persons in Vavuniya district (20 families), Mannar districts (41 families) for the 45 series of preliminary inquiry process on 1st, 2nd and 3rd March 2024.

A training workshop was conducted by the OMP with SLIDA to enhance the knowledge of OMP officers on the disciplinary procedure training and inquiry process for newly recruited officers. The certificate ceremony was held on the 31st of January 2024 at the Office On Missing Persons.

OMP team met the families of missing persons in Kilinochchi district (40 families), Vavuniya district (59 families), and Mannar district (59 families) for the 43rd series of preliminary inquiry processes on 26th, 27th, and 28th January 2024.

The Office on Missing Persons (OMP) opened its sixth regional office in Kilinochchi on the 12th of August 2021.
